The Giga Alliance is a major alliance formed in BB1. It is the first major alliance to be created in the history of the series, and is to this date the biggest single unit alliance to ever exist.

Formation
At the start of BB1, double o squirtle and quakingpunch73 immediately decided they wanted to situate themselves in a majority position, and decided to immediately invite as many people as possible in the interest of gaining influence over the game. They chose 6 other people, trying to form a solid alliance with almost half of the house in one group.
Notable Moves
The alliance itself lacked a list of collected big moves, and instead chose to systematically eliminate opposition. This alliance proved to be dysfunctional and distrustful, as TSM tried to break this group up and they mistakenly eliminated their own ally in Fishey by mistaking him for enemy TAE.
This group suffered multiple blows to itself as the game went on, however. The jury was dominated by enemies of this group, and they largely voted to take out players of this alliance, as Vracken lost his game to this twist, and Blakers, not in this group, was surprisingly voted back in. The shrinking group struggled to keep itself together, but with luck on their side the two original founders of the group managed to survive until the end.
Success
This alliance was in a majority position for most of the game, until they lost this majority in the Final 7 to the Minority Alliances with Nyora's flip and Vracken's eviction by the jury. However at the Final 6, when things were looking bleak, Quaking won HOH and enemy scattered mind was modkilled. Combined with Double Eviction week, both Quaking and DoS were able to reach the end with ally turned enemy Nyora.
Nyora's lack of strategic compass and the resumés both Quaking and DoS built were enough for the two of them to secure all 8 jury votes between the two of them, effectively winning the game for the Giga Alliance.
